DEP 102 Foundation: Digital Entrepreneurship Program - Entry Level
DEP 102 Foundation is the entry-level stage of the Digital Entrepreneurship Program, specifically designed for 100-level students beginning their journey into digital literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. This 12-week hybrid program combines online learning with physical touchpoints to build essential mindsets, soft skills, and digital competencies that prepare students for advanced stages.
Program Objectives:
The foundation program focuses on five core objectives: introducing growth mindset principles and self-discovery, building foundational digital literacy for academic and career success, developing essential soft skills including communication, teamwork, and time management, providing exposure to entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and techpreneurship career pathways, and preparing learners for deeper problem-solving and specialization in DEP 201.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion, students will understand growth mindset and self-leadership principles, demonstrate proficiency in digital productivity and communication tools, apply foundational teamwork, communication, and time management skills, show awareness of community problems and career opportunities, gain exposure to entrepreneurship pathways, build confidence through public speaking and collaboration, and earn a DEP Foundation Certificate qualifying them for DEP 201.
