DEP 201: Digital Entrepreneurship Program - Foundation Semester
DEP 201 is a comprehensive digital entrepreneurship program designed to transform students from job seekers into solution creators, startup founders, and digital economy leaders. Through a structured framework called the Four Ds (Discover, Develop, Digitalize, Dominate), students gain hands-on experience across multiple high-demand digital disciplines.
What You'll Learn:
The program covers 18+ essential digital skills including:
- Data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI, SQL)
- Market research and persona mapping
- UI/UX design and wireframing (Figma, Canva, Miro)
- Physical product development (Onshape, Blender, 3D printing)
- Business model design and lean startup methodology
- No-code MVP development (Bubble, Carrd, Zapier)
- SEO and digital marketing
- Agile and Scrum project management
- Google Workspace productivity tools
The Four-Stage Journey:
- Discover (What is?) - Shift your mindset, explore career opportunities, identify real problems through data analysis and market research
- Develop (What if?) - Brainstorm solutions, create digital wireframes and physical prototypes, experiment with AI-driven ideation
- Digitalize (What wows?) - Build business models, create MVPs (digital apps or physical products), test with real users
- Dominate (What works?) - Launch prototypes, gather market feedback, iterate based on data, prepare investor-ready pitch decks
Program Outcomes:
By completing DEP 201, you will have built and tested a real prototype (digital or physical), gained exposure to entrepreneurship, techpreneurship, and intrapreneurship pathways, and received personalized recommendations for advanced specialization in DEP 202.
The semester concludes with a Digital Career Event & Certification Ceremony, connecting successful students to real opportunities and qualifying them for the advanced DEP 202 track focused on specialization, scaling, funding, and career placement

In this module, students are introduced to three major innovation pathways shaping today’s digital economy -Intrapreneurship, Techpreneurship, and Entrepreneurship.
The goal is to help students:
Understand each category deeply,
Recognize how their digital skills apply within each, and
Identify which pathway aligns best with their personality and purpose.
